Our story...
It started with one wild little girl and one patient little pony.
I’m Amelia. An early childhood and primary school teacher, psychology student and mum of two wild-hearted girls. I'm an animal lover and the founder of Remur Park Herd.
This is Dundee. Star of the show. He wasn’t supposed to be mine — and technically, he still isn’t. His story begins back in 2012, when my beautiful late mama had one too many wines and impulse-ordered two utterly ridiculous ponies off Horse Deals for my 3- and 5-year-old nieces, Matilda and Leila.
Flash forward 13 years to when my own wild, fearless, untameable daughter meets Dundee. And something shifts.
She softens.
She slows.
She learns to wait, to breathe, to listen — not because I tell her to, but because that’s what he needs from her.
Watching them together, I realised: this is what regulation and connection really look like. And I wanted other children (and their parents) to experience that too.
Remur Park Herd was born beneath my mum’s old tree, on a little farm where time moves slowly and play runs deep. It’s a space built on calm ponies, muddy feet, and the valiant daily effort of trying to tame a toddler who thrives on mud and mutiny (the sparkly princess kind).

Maddie and Brody, 3 + 5yrs
"They were a bit nervous around the pony at first but ended up taking him for a walk and loved feeding him vegetables. We loved the craft table with real flowers and leaves and the messy play station with hay and horse food."
Aliyah, 3yrs
"Aliyah loved it she’s told everyone about Dundee and we for sure will be back :) Such a magical and wholesome experience that was calming, creative and nurturing providing a unique learning experience for all children."
Atticus, 2yrs
"He's been in such a good, sweet, calm mood since coming home. It makes such a difference spending the morning engaging in nature play rather than something fast paced and causing major sensory overload."
